'Held from the Sea' a short film exploring marine conservation, ethical travel, and the hidden reality behind sea turtle tourism.
Only 1 in 1,000 sea turtle hatchlings survives to adulthood, and 6 of the world’s 7 sea turtle species are threatened with extinction, two of them critically endangered. While this issue may seem distant, it is more connected to our everyday choices than we realise.
Created in support of the nonprofit Save Turtle, this project aims to inspire greater awareness around ethical wildlife encounters. Because interacting with wildlife should never be just an experience — it’s a responsibility. Every choice we make leaves an impact on the natural world.
